PPA organizes Capacity Building Workshop on Contract Administration

The Public Procurement Authority on Wednesday,10th November,2021 begun a 3-day capacity building workshop on Contract Administration on Consultancy and Technical Service Contracts. This training forms part of series of trainings and capacity building activities outlined for the third quarter of the year.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Abraham Ablorh Mensah, Chief Finance /Operations Officer of the Public Procurement Authority, indicated that, these trainings constitute part of the mandate of the Authority to train and build the capacity of the procurement practitioners as well as the private sector to effectively carry out their roles effectively. He added that the workshop is “Aimed at ensuring that we get the best value for money in all public procurement activities”.

Similar trainings will be held in Kumasi on 30th-2nd December,2021 as well as Contract Administration for Goods and Works at the Noda Hotel, Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
